Note from Don. I'm tall and don't like microwaves inside the island. I would rather have the island top be a dark color than have the sides of the island be a different color than the other cabinets. My preference is that the cabinets be some shade of white. I haven't seen many/any non-white painted cabinets that I liked. I also prefer that all the kitchen countertops be the same color

Note from Don. I very much like the appearance of this kitchen. For the cabinets inside the island and along the floor of the kitchen, we'd want shelves that pull/slide out so everything inside can be reached easily. We really don't need island seating. Not having it will give us much needed cabinet space. I would also replace the flooring in this picture with the flooring I liked in another picture.

Note from Don. I like that this kitchen has more color than just white and grey. We don't want open shelving. If the island is going to have seating, I want high quality, wide, cushioned seating that's comfortable to sit on. The lights above the island are similar to other lights Jackie and I have seen that we both like. Stainless steel appliances ae preferred.

I generally love cool colors but I like a kitchen that feels warm. This kitchen feels warm and inviting, not cold. But it still has stainless faucets. I like the countertops. (I don't like the light fixtures)

Whether its a pull down spice rack or drawer, I definitely need space for all of the spices and baking supplies I have.

Love these cabinets and pulls. LOVE the cabinet option with the microwave in it too!

LOVE this corner cabinet option. Also the corner "bread drawer" except it seems too small. Our corner is larger and would require a larger corner cabinet.

If we can relocate the laundry, this would be a great option for that current space. LOVE the shiplap.

I like the beveled subway tile backsplash. NOT the sink and NOT the faucet.

I love this backsplash. A design without color. Even in a light color so its barely seen maybe picking up a color in the countertop.

I love the backsplash to the ceiling. I like how the color blends and doesn't "pop." The farm sink is great but I think I'll miss divided sink.

This is too stark white. I only like the "bread drawer." Would love to have that on the diagonal in the corner of the counter if we're keeping the foot print. I hate the wasted space in the corner

Love the warmth of the cabinets and light counter tops. Not a fan of the hood. I do like the drawer pulls.

I like the difference in cabinetry for the island but it's not necessary. Love the double ovens.
