window
I like the large expanse of the glass, but I feel like the view all the way at the ground is less than desirable. Since this is not going floor to ceiling anyways, I think the view could have been framed better by lifting the large window up from the ground and all the way to the ceiling line, instead of having the clerestory and wall segment bringing your eye down
I love this extra large daybed instead of a window seat. i would love this on the media center end of the living room. there could be a wood wall panel in the center with the tv suspended, surrounded on both sides and above with windows extending to the ceiling. on either side of the tv panel could be the built in day bed in a twin size, with the width narrowing to a bench in front of the tv, but the overall aesthetic would be that the bench extends wall to wall. it would create a spot for lounging to take in the view, space for a sleepover or extra guests, and extra seating when entertaining. underneath could be hidden cabinet storage.
This is a small window for a big wall, but brilliantly placed. Total privacy from neighbors. Brings the eye up. Draws attention to the roofline. Lets in light at the ceiling
