If the glasses and coffee mugs in the beverage station are out of reach (most likely because I'm short), this foldable slim step stool built into the cabinet would be an option to explore. https://hideawaysolutions.com/?gclid=CjwKCAjwxev3BRBBEiwAiB_PWNGhZ-ojSHcHxRtOC1NDb5bTPf_qmihmOt_u8uVdaTaLsAbcHBK3khoCRg4QAvD_BwE
another pic from the same bathroom at Niptuck but with a better view of the floor. Nice feel to the space- inviting and spa-like. https://www.houzz.com/photos/bellevue-contemporary-bathroom-with-led-transitional-bathroom-seattle-phvw-vp~98388610 . Like the color with minimal pattern. The wall tile works nicely in this space. The lighting creates a nice ambiance. I know its a completely different floor plan but its something to consider when looking at our lighting plan.
Don't like the cabinet on top of the vanity, but the pull out drawer on the side is good (or maybe reuse our current medicine cabinet??)
We saw this at Albert Lee and would now consider it as an option if it fits into the design.
We like this shower.a lot. Love the lighting in the niche and overhead. Clean, relaxing, spa-like feel. We like the neutral color, larger tiles and placement of the accent tile on the shower wall. Would like to see coordinating tile for the floor (although Rich likes it as pictured).
The lighting may be off, but I don't like the blue with the beige countertop. Not a fan of the stripped pattern on the floor. In terms of bathroom storage, just updating the vanity cabinets alone will be a huge help and take care of most of our storage needs.
Besides this looking too formal and too white, the tub looks like it's just 'floating' out there. From a practical standpoint, how can you use it if everything you would need is out of reach? As you know, the tub is not something we use or want, but know that it's a necessity for resale. Next house I get is going to have a sit-down sauna!
I can't quite explain why, but I'm not a fan of the shower tile. It looks like a lot of stripes. The tile shower floor is good
Lordy-- no! LOL. For accent tiles, we want something much more subtle and neutral. We can pull colors in with wall paint, a rug, towels, or other ideas you have so that they are easy to replace if we want to make a change.
Love the fully extended cabinet drawers. Need storage for paper goods (dishes, bowls) that we use on a regular basis. Like having the dishes on the lower cabinet, if the weight isn't a problem. The drawer needs to be roomy enough for 8 place settings, plus a large serving platter and bowls.
The field tile is neutral and clean. Feels less formal and more spa-like. Don't like it with the accent tile in the niche Like the size of the tile (not sure if it's too big for our small area? Like that there's very minimal grout line.
Leaning away from pebbles on shower floor
Like the ivory color- neutral, size of tile with no visible grout line. Would like some other pattern on floor
LIke white cabinet (without the glass). Subtle, but nice contrast between the backsplash and cabinet. Light/airy but still has warmth. Is white is practical around the seating area around the island because of likely scuff marks? Like the color of the floor. Window looks bare. Needs a window treatment or something.
The countertop has too much contrast with the pattern . We are leaning more towards solid or subtle pattern/movement. Easy maintenance is also key.
If we are doing white cabinets, then we don't want pure white backsplash.
Rich likes the idea of having the three bar stools (with backs) all on one side, as pictured. This kitchen is too white- needs a little more contrast
*** this is my favorite inspiration picture/palette for your kitchen***Light and modern, yet still feels warm with the copper accents w/ wood stain. No white walls. Countertop is caesarstone concrete 4040 but was reading poor reviews. Wld like your thoughtshttps://www.houzz.com/discussions/5013208/terrible-experience-with-caesarstone
Too brown and dark. Don't like the tile colors.
Too formal, too white. The tile looks really shiny- I wonder if it would be really slippery if wet?
Overall, this is too white. Needs some contrast and interest. Is marble the only countertop option?! LOL
We want the bathroom colors to flow with our bedroom colors- white, cream/sand, light brown, and blue (inspired by our visits to Cancun). No blue accent tiles.
The backsplash is pretty, but too busy for what we are going for in the bathroom. Like having some kind of shelf or niche next to the tub to make it functional.
Do not care for the tiles that look like wood on the shower walls.
Too white. Stark. Needs more warmth and a cohesive look.
I don't like this photo nearly as much as the other black and white kitchen. It feels more stark and not as cohesive. The backsplash is too busy and trendy.
Very striking.
We would like to see design options for keeping our existing mirror (w or w/o a frame), and replacing with two separate mirrors.
Another possible idea for the entryway niche. Only need 6 cubbies for larger size bins.
Potential idea for the niche. Would only need 6 cubbies deep enough to store baskets. If so, then we wouldn't need to hide it from view.
Don't love the small white subway tile with the dark grout.
The placement of this shower niche is on the side and not the back wall so it's not the first thing you see when you enter the bathroom.
Not a fan of anything in this pic-
If we are looking at other options besides the white cabinet, this is a nice tobacco color finish. Not sure how it will balance out with our floor stain or if it will make the room too dark?
we will need a place in the kitchen for our facebook portal and front point security displays
I sent an email to let you know we decided to include a berage/wine refrigerator. Also, these cupboards have some itching so that it's open, but not fully see-thru. This could be an option.
visit https://niptuckremodel.com/redmond-kithen-and-family-remodel for more pics. Looks light and inviting with the cream, beige, and white; and different color on the island
Like: subtle, clean, neutral colors on the shower wall. Also like that there's no grout lines, bigger size tile. Like the white cabinet and hardware. We like the coordinating tile for the shower floor and square decorative drain. We are leaning away from any accent tile in the niche or on the shower wall.
Interesting idea...Two separate beverage stations next to each other. May help ease some of the storage issues.
Another transitional design using painted posts, handrails with carpet- AS
