Kitchen
indoor outdoor
shape and materials. maybe just have one island and have it "flair on both ends one for cook top other for sitting
drawer for stuff
kinda funky treatment of snack bar lots of drawers
vent also that island is not a solid mass lots of drawers hardly any up cabinets
seating on both sides of island
the island doesn't have to be one height or length or surface
surface contrast- glass cabinet, stainless, concrete, wood. (although I hate stainless)
Appliance Caddy Cabinet
I like drawers for stuff as opposed to cabinets. I really like tall narrow drawers this one for knives is great. Good for platters, cutting boards etc...
shed roof, plain cabinets-like the rich color. I like the configuration of the island with dining and adjacent fireplace. Can't tell how it communicates with outdoors but if it did to the front or side that would be neat
kitchen ladder, snack bar prep that doubles as dining, light fixture is groovy.
flat panel wood cabinets. (follow up with Carson re: St George cabinet maker - Dan has a picture) "Floating Wall" and implication on upper cabinets Good example of warming up modern design.
Fabulous snack bar - except, half the seating has no view. Has to serve well for 2 people or 10
Indoor outdoor kitchen
Second picture of kitsch with snack bar split by accordion window.
Kitchen is indoors and outdoors
5 - Does not communicate with the outdoors - too industrial. (A bit of modern/industrial touch can be good).
shelves around door and on weirdo wall
