Covered outdoor space; is it also limited by SWIM? If so, does that change per ground/patio material (i.e. pavers, gravel etc)?
Staggered depth rear, in reverse (not covered lower levels); prob less practical, but maybe more light and outdoor space per level (roof terrace (on top of basement level) off living...? May not work because of SWIM buffer
Wood, grass, concrete, glass, terrace can lights
Drop-soffit/wall bump out with storage and matching kitchen island shape; colors/materials
Windows, concrete pads with grass dividers, transom/clerestory window, side/front porch with unconventional shape but covered. 2nd tier roofline.
Simplicity
I like the outlier, bump-out window and front stair to living level. Might make sense if it’s cheaper than digging deeper for a decent basement-level ceiling height.
I like this house. Not necessarily what I want to build, but if we have to compromise on exterior building materials to stay in a sensible cost of construction, I could deal. Especially if we end up just selling it.
Outdoor living and pool. Don’t care about a fireplace or separate outdoor areas, per se. would prefer more glass/windows. And fuck that stone f/p detail. Would also prefer a shallow/tanning shelf vs uniform depth pool.
This is what I want. Minus the brackets and arched window detail. And maybe a bit less mullion on the windows. And more vertical/taller/lankier. With better landscaping and no stone or brick pavers. I like the mixed roof materials.
Isolated front/privacy; rear-oriented living; horizontal gate; lighting; mixed/varied roofline
Simplicity, shape, varied roofline; tall, narrow windows; presumably rear roof allows for roof terrace; top floor window detail
Front door height, varied roof height & front depth, window shape & color
Front porch, (hip) roofline, dormer, white exterior
oh man. I love this house
