Like (what I assume is) the butler pantry idea. Extra smaller fridge. Space for toaster, coffee/tea station, smoothy making area (highly consumed in this family) (need to be able to fit blender on countertop). Note: we also use a toaster oven (Wolf), that we have in the kitchen but would consider here. Like the little tucked in cleaning closet close to kitchen - bonus!
Like the warm feel to this kitchen and practical usage - much storage, easy access from sink to cook top. Want to explore adding a water connection above cook top. Like all of the countertop space. 2 ovens (prefer built in). Assume dish washer is in close proximity to sink. Need flooring that would stand up to dropped items (heaven forbid) and easy to clean. Kitchen back splash that is also easy to clean and could withstand intensive use. Countertops to hold up to high heat and intensive usage. Like to openness, yet separate feel, to adjoining space. Also need built in microwave. Warming drawer would be a plus. Like colours.
Would prefer to have monitor on the desk and not facing the wall, since we are mostly on the computer. Like the idea of having a built in storage wall, like the one previously flagged, with a free standing desk large enough to accommodate a monitor, laptop, etc. space in addition to paper work space. Like the idea of the larger free standing desk, as shown in this picture, but without the bulk feel of it. Also like the TV in the room and bright space/windows for natural light to work in. Also like having additional seating in the space.
Mirror wall, TV and storage space.
Like the mirrored wall. Also kill sturdy flooring (slam balls, medicine balls, battle ropes) and areas in ceiling and wall that are reinforced to accommodate TRX, battle ropes, etc. if wanted in the future.
Nice and bright and connected to the outdoors.
Like to open, airy feel of this yoga/gym space and its connection to the outdoors.
Like the idea of the nook to store camping, activity gear, etc. - but prefer even more an enclosed space for these items, like at the Belaire house that Kent and I saw.
Yes to storage for bikes and other leisure toys.
Like the space to store the collection of bins the City keeps providing us with!
Nice, organized space for yard and snow maintenance.
Like this closed in garage storage.
Classy laundry space.
Appreciate, what I assume, is a broom closet storage area.
Also like this way to get in 4 machines.
Interesting way to get 4 machines.
Nice and spacious to work in.
Yes to a lot of closed in storage - all laundry items, house cleaners, house maintenance, etc.
Like the idea of work space and movability in the laundry room. Sink is a must have. Also need space for ironing and much space for hang drying and flat drying clothes.
Like the consideration of where to place hampers and laundry bins. We are big laundry sorters, to make the task easier.
Like to practical storage with the old world touches.
We like have a glass door entrance to the wine room, but do not like the openness of an all glass wall.
Like the old world feel on this space, but not the traditional elements. Leaning torward no seating area in the wine room. Do not require sink.
Like the practical of the storage in this wine room - drawers, inclusion of the large wine fridge, storage for single bottles as well as cases, are to profile most valued bottles, etc. Would need somewhere to hold decanters, wine glasses, etc. - whether in wine room or bar.
Like the blend of the house into the landscaping. Like the outdoor lighting features. Again, rustic rock landscaping tie to the house exterior.
Like the different angles on this exterior.
Appreciate the ample storage in this space.
Like to bright eating nook, with access to the outdoor space.
Like the covered, sheltered and more dramatic entrance feature to this home.
Like the idea of both fridge and freezer and kitchen, but debating the separation of freezer elsewhere.
Like how the outdoor fireplace complements the indoor fireplace. Feels like a natural extension between to 2 spaces.
Love how the great room opens up to the outdoors.
The stonework in the stairwell is interesting.
Like the large kitchen island with a great deal of useable countertop space for food prep, baking, buffet style service for entertaining. Like the warm, inviting feel of the space. The woodwork in the home is very close to what we currently have. Would prefer a more modern style. Like the ceiling detail.
Like the glass shower, the his and hers shower heads, the his and hers vanities and the separate make-up area.
Like this simple, cozy seating area in the bedroom.
Like this bar. Slightly enclosed, lots of storage - behind glass doors to save the constant dusting!
Like the idea of some form a built in or feature wall around the head of the bed.
If we incorporate a TV room, we like the intimate, comfortable feel of this space.
Like the idea of simple (not overstated) bench in the entrance.
Like how the exterior of the home blends with a more "rugged" stone in the landscaping design.
If we do not end up incorporating a pool space, we like the covered area for the hot tub - and easy access to the hot tub from the home.
Like the different dimensions in the balcony and the stairs off to the side. Also like the large covered and enclosed area to extend the usability of this outdoor space.
Love the glass wall enclosed room, if we need enclosures anywhere.
Like this yard - lighting, fire pit, organic shape, stone, grass space to use for multiple activities.
Also appreciate this room - natural light, fireplace and seating. Like to colours (but would also like to add in blue accents in the spaces).
Like this space divider, as well (it does not close off the spaces entirely and leaves a very open feel). Like colours. Like use of stone.
One of Kent's favourites
