Chatêl Chalet
Stand alone bath. But more « rugged » A: for the bath I think I would prefer a more robust style. B: I like the style, but in our bathroom it would be sitting in between three walls, without any room to 'breathe' or be admired. So I'm not sure if it's worth the extra cost compared to what the builder proposes.
Architectural detail of fireplace B: Has some interesting ideas. In terms of width we would need to see how much space we have. TV: would really depend on furniture layout. We could live without it and just put out a Samsung TV on an easel stand when we need it. A: not convinced on the fireplace
Type of lighting B: I totally agree with what that famous architect said, about chandeliers being the jewelry of a space. Good effort, let's keep looking!
Architectural detail - fireplace. But not with same material. Just the design... B: I wouldn't go with that stone going all the way up. It feels too rustic for me. (Also, it would need to be a closed fireplace, but that might be a detail).
Source: https://megeve-refuge.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/refugewebveronese-019.jpg Glass partition stairs, and mezzanine B: along which stairs? At the mezzanine, all the way to the ceiling?
Idea for bunk beds
Sink
Leather strap closet handles B: not a fan. A: neither
Entrance storage for sports equipment B: I plan to build something like this in the garage, where there's more space for it.
Lights - these can be configured in a variety of ways. An arrangement could be created to fit above your dining table B: This is in a pool, where it does give a nice water bubble effect. Not sure about using it ourselves.
Wall partition for the main level stairs, keeping glass for upstairs mezzanine B: which staircase? The one that comes up to the 1er étage?
Fireplace design - but with different materials B: 1. I like the color scheme. 2. I first discarded the fireplace, but it's starting to grow on me. At first I thought is was too massive, but if you imagine it smaller, it wouldn't work as well as an eye catcher. Also, the setting is rather similar to our place, with the couches relatively far from the fireplace, which makes the scale more proportional if you will.
Back lit, more refined bespoke headboard B: Normally I'm a sucker for ideas like that, but in our case, it wouldn't be in line with the rest of the styling of the bedrooms/bathrooms.
Recommended height of headboard, but in mélèze B: Why this high? Normally headboards are never this high?
The color of the carpet B: Agreed. Also, the reason why I like this color scheme so much though, is because of the contrast but I'm not sure how we could make this work in our place.
I think the bedroom area should have a higher proportion of wood than the living/dining area. Makes the bedroom area feel cozier and makes the living/dining area feel airier. B: In principle I don't disagree. But especially with wood on the ceiling it runs the risk of becoming a wooden box. A: no wood on the ceiling

We prefer a more modern look for the spiral staircase, like this: https://www.trappenkopen.nl/uploads/0000/2828/Engelse-wenteltrap_detail_large.jpg
Adjustable desk for Study (Ch. 6)
Sofa could be a potential option
The combination of dark and light textures really complements the wood. I think this was also the idea in Châlet 1100, but not executed convincingly. (https://architecturebeast.com/inspiring-modern-chalet-interior-design/)
