Dream House Inspiration
I would love to add this to my home, either as the deck/sun room. It is very bright and the vaulted ceiling would add a neat structure for the outside, and having the shelf against the wall really opens up the limited space; this is helpful because it should be the last thing I add to my bungalow, seeing as we have limited space. The windows also are nicely implemented on the vaulted part of the ceiling, which is something I've never seen before in architecture.
Very polished and symmetrical, this bathroom has a lot of storage and I love the pop of colour with the flowers. Architecturally, the window lessens the enclosure of the relatively narrow space, and the light reflected off the floors and furniture highlights the the rooms' subtle complexity of the wainscoting.
The vaulted ceiling and wooden beams, the bubbly chandelier, and the arched openings for each appliance are my favourite parts of this picture. All of which add architectural flair and the gold faucets and chair legs add a pop of colour that reflects the light and makes the room seem so bright and nice to the viewer.
This kitchen, although not being completely white, is very sleek and bright, due to the lighter gray/blue backsplash and cabinet colours. The seems to be a little texture to the backsplash, and the lights have an interesting design. I like the long island and the bar seats, as it would be very efficient in a smaller one story home. All the colours fit together as well,
The golden feel of this room makes it one of my favourite pictures I've saved. The fireplace is very grand, and the Corinthian columns add a style of formality from Greek architecture and the contrast between the off-white and dark wooden door in the corner is a great feature to include to make my home more exciting.
The vaulted ceiling and windows are a great touch that would be cool to include. Because our homes are one story, I believe it would enlarge the appearance of exactly how much space I can use within my plot. The more sunlight the room has, the more the accents and smaller designs will be highlighted, which is very appealing to a viewer.
This kitchen has a very warm atmosphere that I would love to achieve within my project. I love the pops of colour added with plants and furniture, and how the floor is something I have never seen before instead of the normal tile or wood. White cabinets are also a nice touch becauase it makes the room seem so much brighter!
Archways/arched doors are my favourite design elements in architecture, In this picture, I love the black and white tiled floor as well, which reminds me of older years when it used to be popular. It looks very clean and interesting in this picture. The lighting fixtures are also very elegant and I would like to include those and the wall accents made of stucco into my home.
Other than the styles in the last three pictures I saved, this polished, white, and marble look is also one of my favourite styles for a home. The many windows lessen the enclosure of the space, and having a window above the sink overlooking the yard is one feature that I believe adds a comfort factor to a home, along with the many plants and bright colours they include along the space. It looks very clean and symmetrical, which is pleasing to anyone's eye.
This again falls under the style of Mediterranean architecture, featuring darker colours including gold and peach, along with many archways and accents that make the room appear almost for royalty. Honestly, I've never been in a house like this before, however it is my favourite style and I would love to attempt and include it in my project.
Falling under Mediterranean style, this bathroom consists of soothing and warm colours that are different compared to the modern, white bathrooms that are common to see today. I love the colours, the archways and stained glass (?) window, along with the accents on the cupboards and large mirror, which lessons the enclosure of the space.
My favourite part of this house are the many windows, archways, and contrast in colour between materials. I believe the entire house is stucco, with a dark wood crafted garage and door, following the design of Meditteranean Revival architecture. The outside features certainly create a luxurious ambience, and the home is symmetrical and clean with a lot of windows.
This archway into the large living room overlooking the backyard is my favourite feature of this home, but the complementary colours add a warmth and comfort to the space as well. The designs on the floor and roof add more details to the room and are almost reminiscent of Mediterranean or Islamic architecture.
