Reason Ford
This is the only other bathroom I'm showing you for now. This is to illustrate the idea of having a center bookshelf vs flanking. I don't want to put any more time on the clock sourcing bathrooms for you until we have more to go on...these are just to get you thinking about the space you're working with.
This is the portion of the stairs you would see. again, note the various use of materials, as it relates to dining area, and floor, and kitchen overall. The stairwell IS a part of this house. There is a runner on this stairwell-which would be accoustically quiet and saves on wear and tear w/the pets.
These stairs, are called, "floating stairs' because the don't have risers...Usually there's a steel beam on each side and then planks are added as the step. I think this could be stunning in your updated stairwell. I can show you more examples. 1st photo of stairs you saw also has 'floating' concept.
Given the table, this room was very inspiring to me, and how we could transform your inset wall...OR how this could work in your kitchen/fam room as a seating area...well, kind of! I like how you can see above the FP as well. The display area could be a look in your dining room, vs a FP...just a thought on visuals...or the focal point in your entry when the stairwell is gone.
Chair height vs barstool height.
This table is laid out as you would want your island to be...
This look totally takes on a feel of a dining table...but w/a sink!
Variation...these chairs do NOT look very comfy.
I like the foot rest that runs the perameter of bar.
I'm noting the curving lines on this layout.
Interesting look w/the sink area vs the seating area...but looks more like a bar, than a table to dine.
Again, a custom cut table surface.
I like the beverage cooler built into this one.
Combination fo surfaces for an unexpected look.
More tad'l look, but seat alot.
Interesting addition w/ the beverage chiller at the end of a counter. I like this...could be a great addition to the pool area, too.
Just found this visually pleasing.
It's a bar, but good to view.
There's the hidden microwave!
Meh.
Last but not least...I like these chairs, they are inviting. Interesting the way the table top was formed.
Note how this vaulted ceiling really promotes the french doors as the focal point, in using the same colors for both. This look does present more of a 'tunnel' look.
