My ideas
I think basalt pillars are cool
solution to kitchen access, but with different materials
like planter integrated into wall, low seat.
fun idea
flip side of exterior wall making a patio. small water feature hidden from street.
like landscaping. and general aesthetic. low maintenance but not sterile.
wrong climate, but I like the aesthetic
like the light effects.
just like clever design. though changing materials for the roof or siding might make sense in terms of not having the street view read as a glass box.
yes this a green house and not the right style. but it has the balance of weight/ protection with light and airflow that I envisioned
think this roof concept might work. though concerned it may not look great from exterior.
Eichler interior courtyards are an early inspiration in terms of blending indoor/outdoor. I like the glass roof, and solid walls giving a sense of cozyness. (I don't dig this specific version especially. it just happened to be on Houzz)
would like a wall height thus tall or a bit lower
alternative view of stone walls. ( I think a thicker frame would feel less exposed). size looks larger than what we need.
this is too much glass, but I like the low stone walls ( I don't want floor to ceiling windows)
this is not really practical but I do like the pool, the exterior materials, the deck that is an extension of the interior....
like the general aesthetic
scale is nice, as well as ceiling
this is similar to my parents ( inspiration) but the windows (different) don't run to the floors.
example of having addition built into grade with potential storage underneath.
a lot of wood but resonates with the living room.
not sure I want this, but it's one way to keep garden tidy and use front yard space along the south property line between Jim and our place.
