French Country
Nice outdoor living.
Exposed "lintel" over window shows the world the structural components.
Those may be false dormers on top of the front roof line.
Wood is back, in the right amounts.
Nice use of wrap back windows, I really like this one.
Mixed materials.
Lower pitch is possible, again, that slate roof sets the tone.
French "farm".
Love fine details...
Love the sage windows, maybe just a tad more color, especially in an earth toned smooth wall plaster. I'll find a photo of a fine example French Country I'm aware of in Redlands.
Rhythm.
Looks like a turret in search of a door.
Amazing, individual slices of trees, as a siding material.
Austerity can be lovely, again, in the eye of the beholder.
stone with gingerbread siding in the gables; lots of differing texture and "shadow lines",
Simple, clean, smooth wall stucco (country).
'Royal French Country" Very interesting to me, looks more like a craftsman style, however, those usually have much lower roof pitches.
Some might call this a pastiche "mcmansion". Others may love it, and again, someone like it, and approved the design, so it has a place in the world.
Very large "stone quoins" similar to the exterior on the original "internet home". I imagine this is an expensive finish.
Very traditional reproduction of a clean look.
Looks like a true period French Country traditional.
Interesting French Country.
Loving natural material carriage doors at the garage portals, and alternative materials are available, while not varnished wood, that nicely emulate, or reproduce the style of door very well.
i'd like to see the lamps that throw this light :)
