Kitchen remodel
Really like the cabinet space built in above this hood. Not wild about the metal hood itself (I’d prefer a wood frame built over it) Attractive range top though
I like the sink in this picture but nothing else
Like this hood
Cabinets to ceiling maximize space- like that they don’t do this on every wall though
We like the pull out drawers for dish storage (yes, likely way more expensive but very practical/easier for family use)
Very cool look with minimalist style hood
Good looking cooktop
Kind of like the look of non matching countertops (island vs other counters)
Are we having a bump out by the patio doors that are converting to a window? If yes, this looks nice
Like the endcap cabinets enclosing the chairs on either side of the island
Really like this style & shape of window for current patio doors
Like this sink & window (for where current patio doors are)
Like the windows & towel bar right under sink, really like this sink!
Like these windows
Like these cabinets & sink
another under cabinet storage idea for drink station
another type of pullout storage solution for liquor at drink station. Could store wine & glassware up above counter
could do pull out storage for liquor (?)
endcap shelf with overhang on island
I like the idea of putting in a small row of little shelves next to or close to patio window for decor, small plant, etc. It helps break up "cupboard, cupboard, cupboard" feel
could put shelving on island end across from drink station to house cookbooks/recipe box
I'm not sure I want this, but I'm intrigued with the idea of blocking in the stools (basically building their storage into the island) to maximize cupboard/storage space on one end &/or the other
we could maybe add another stool or two to the very end of the island (across from drink station),
this hinge/pull down trash is what we're thinking on the end of the counter, across from drink station; we could look into DIY'g ourself if it's not practical or price efficient to build into counter setup
I like that this isn’t a big empty overhang (aka waste of space) on the end of the island, as they’ve wrapped it around the edge to permit an extra seat. Looks great w/the connecting beam piece to anchor to the floor. I also like the foot rail under the island :) (unnecessary & probably just more money, but I like it anyways!)
Like this sink. Also like the white sink blending into white counters but a contrasting color for cabinets. The sconce type lights above the sink are a nice detail to break things up (as opposed to more can lights)
If we do a prep island, I like the idea of sneaking a chair or two under one side (if it doesn’t clutter up the layout)
Similar layout potential for us, with either sink or range under window (near corner), then double oven on shorter wall (more so where this pic shows a range)?
Another option to add some more seats around the end of the island (closest to the front door)
I like the seating tucked into the overhang, with cabinet enclosing the ends
if we did white/light countertop i like the darker grey/warm color contrast on bottom cabinets; i don't like heavily marbled white for counters
another pantry idea to add shelving space but keep it open & not cut into doorframe of front sitting room
for my organizing purposes only- goodidea to do a bottle rack on a shelf for oils in pantry; easier to maximize space w/o worrying about bottle height difference
i don't know- maybe we should have glass panels above coffee station w/ shelves between them?
I like the endcap shelf for cookbooks; also like low profile stools like this (just for reference regarding island seating)
Is it possible to have wine/liquor holders inside the bottom cupboards by a coffee/bar area? maximize storage but keep it clean/safe with a cupboard door to cover the front?
if we have to put double oven next to fridge, could consider skinny shelving to fill the space between, or even skinny cupboard for cutting boards/cookie sheets
Beautiful lighting. Love the colors & style
