Hemisha's ideas
I like the book stack idea! It integrates the books without taking too much space and allowing for easy access. Although my only concern would be the dust and cockaroaches because they are attracted to paper. Also, would it damage the books, leaving it in such a position, especially after a long time to old books?
I like this room too! The sofa dosent match, but yet it works. The white chestershire sofa has red cushions and the zebra print and the zebra print ties in with the black and white lamps. This is then tied in through the large, dark picture frame. The red cushions on the white sofa match and are the same shade as the sofa. The cushion on the red sofa, while red and white matches the white one. This is just one example of how everything matches and it is all inter-connected. The rug, is of an oriental design, does not fit at all and at first glance you don't see that it is out of place because the red border ties in the red throughout the room. It matches objects in pieces of art and creates an effortless cohesive space.
I like how the pieces are so different yet they all fit together to make a cohesive space that works and belongs. The chairs dont match and the artwork is a mix of olf and new but somehow it all works and I quite like that. I adds character and a unique touch to the space to have different seating and different frames and artworks, that all go together.
the little pink door at the bottom is adorable.
