Floor is too dark, but has some warm tones. Cabinets are too pale. SS counter tops belong in a restaurant, not a home. The back splashes behind the stove and sink seem isolated from the room even though they match the island counter top. They gray counter backsplash and walls lack warmth and life. It's winter in this kitchen. The cold air is draining the color from the cabinets and the floor is hoarding what it has..
Floor color is nice. Grain is a little heavy. The right side window is neat. The dark ceiling beams makes the room feel short. The chair rail has no purpose since the wall above and below is the same. The green wall is not happy. It has a sickly appearance. The dark mantle contrasts with the white fireplace. It does match with the ceiling trim, but that also makes the room feel short. If the hearth was dark too, it would probably be ok. The blue sofa and goldenrod blanket are not sure they are in the right classroom.
I like this, mostly. Floor color is nice, but lay direction with the narrow room also reminds me of a bowling alley floor. Cabinets are too dark for the amount. Counter tops too dark. Not fond of glass door cabinets. We need the storage more than knick-knack space. No one wants to see shelves jam packed with baking ingredients and spice jars.
