Travertine color is about right, as is the sheen. But not going with dark stained woodwork... not liking the contrast & it feels dated and bottom heavy.

I like the sheen of this travertine and the variable Versaille pattern.

Love this flooring approach & the way they broke up the larger tile with the mosaic border & framed in the space.

Interesting thought to frame the island with a separate tile treatment. Do NOT like the travertine color here.

Tile option for travertine.

Note that Lyn dislikes this patchwork flooring approach. Wants a more consistent floor stain across all the boards.

Square Travertine - or irregular shaped? This seems more "elegant" and the irregular square/rectangle travertine is more casual...

Another floor tone option that looks good with cream an dark brown windows.

This traverine is TOO YELLOW and too matte. We need to go more to light almost white travertine.

A bit TOO much variation in color tones - almost feels like stripes!

Like the tile color tone -need to have some shine, not too "stoney" and enough texture not to be slippery. Wood floors are too dark!

This wood tone looks too gray.

Be careful NOT to do this - striping/landing pad look. Very odd.

Ignore the floor (too yellow) - note the wood work - simple and clean with a little detail at the top.

Like the travertine entry, but tile is too brown, like the wood tones in living area adjacent.

Consider berber/no plush carpet for guest rooms. Don't like the beam work in bedrooms - feels like the ceiling is low!

Like the wood tone on the floor and mix of clean white with brown, but think too rustic beams & too modern wall of windows.

This is a bit too polished and dark

Prefer even lighter colored stone (NOT YELLOW TINTED) not a fan of the rustic finish on this tile. Too "farm house" casual. Two tile sizes varied make this floor look striped.
Hickory Wood stain we chose.
