We saw this is a shop in Tromso and thought it would look great
Possibly an option to reduce the costs with the discreet pillar but still keeping the full opening - from something you’d posted on FB - yep - so this one is just completed in Fleet - an eccentrically loaded main column brought away from the line of the house and yet stepped back from the line of the opening window screen...
the float is a great idea and also a potential nightmare - a much cheaper and safer way of achieving this is a glass leg
Neighbours showing newer hanging tiles
Local double height window - simples yet very strong aesthetic!
R: interested to see that Hart council have approve a zinc and timber clad extension in the next road, with green roof - similar to what we want to do, though theres is at the rear
this is really nice - dies not have to be a timber - can be a lovely tile product
this form of bannister is actually dangerous and not recommended
I think this is pretty lovely and would stand the test of time... if anything it's slightly 'austere'
R: like the varied widths; also the numbering
ha - a great example of old and new
love the big vertical - the strong horizontal... I also love the roofline - but not so much all three together
R&W: Like the wood/grey combined - possibly for side single extension? .... wow, yes
this is a little commercial/restaurant passe now - vertical banding works better
R: like the more uniform colour of these hanging tiles... J - i would recommend an even more expensive product for this effect
so clean, so sharp, timeless
R: like the varying widths used here
some douglas fir charred, no need to paint
r: The black cladding is interesting and different to horizontals
R: We've saved this before but looking now at the brick/render combination
R: I do like the 'living roof'
R: Wood, render and grey - very nice; are there materials that stop the greying or the wood though? Yes, the only way to stop the greying of the wood is to use a different product - basically a tile of man made material by companies like eternit and trespa panels etc
Like this ... carpeted open tread stairs
