I really like a deck area (big or small) out of each patio door but I know Jonathan is not sure if it would be doable given our flat lot, or would the maintenance/clean (oak trees) be manageable?

the "edge" (forgot what they are called) looks interesting

very zen like but the pebbles may not be safe for kids?
Q

really like the mixed use of materials as well as the floating steps to create some dimension since our lot is pretty flat. Need to pay attention to the materials under the floating steps to be "child safe" (very important)

The concrete blocks have some pebbles in them, make it more "pop" for the walkway leading to the front door. We have seen ones with glass, what are different options we can use? Not too busy or showy

place to put play structure (not fixed), or an inflatable water slide in the summer
Q

these are great for vegetable and fruit trees but probably different type of planters, more modern looking ones
Q

sandbox for girls, doesn't have to be fixed. Just need an area where they can play and not worry about getting dirty
Q

kids play area, for roaming, kicking balls, doodling

small water feature? Maintenance?
Q

love the door but not sure where to put it.

Can something like this (without the concrete blocks) work in our front yard, under the master bath window?
Q
Photo
what is the material for the raised bed? Will they work in our yard for the flowering trees?
Q
Photo
nice sitting area, also the turf (?) for kids to roam around
Q
Photo
like the mixed materials but still clean and not too busy
Q
Photo
not sure where we can use it but I like the gate, looking for something that is modern, clean but will not go out of style in 10 years....
Q
Photo
are the long rectangular "planter" be used for fruit trees or vegetables? Is maintenance easy (like clean up oak leaves)?
Q
Photo
love the water feather but with lots of oak trees around the property, it is probably difficult to manage
Q
Photo
Like the clean look even with multiple steps, also like the clean look of the stone(?) planter but can we use those for vegetables or fruit trees?

This is the shed I plan on having it replace the existing smaller shed. The door will be on the left side of 12' siding.
