open/airy staircase. is this possible in a colonial style?
spiral staircase down from first floor -- option for addition, not main basement.
beer tap is pretty cool...wonder how it works to have so many different beers.
do we need cabinets or could we just do wine storage? -- Let's do open shelves or cabinets, maybe with one small area of wine storage to hold the wine only for one social evening. We want to store wine elsewhere.
why does the ceiling look so much higher in this picture than in the rest of this basement?
full fridge (wine fridge?) flat wetbar
centrally located wetbar, backing to stairs
hidden room for kids under stairs. if do something like this, would want to be able to convert it easily into something else in 10 years.
windows -- this won't work for us because we aren't going to excavate to lower the grass.
this kind of storage would work fine if storage and work areas are combined. just need shelves to be big and strong enough to support plastic crates of clothes, etc.
shower
Like this, but in a lighter color
windows
too closed off
this is horrible
Doors to gym?
Door as potential divider to gym area
don't like this shower or layout
nice layout but too dark
not the colors, but the setup, minus the TV
wish it had a full fridge
glassed-in area is nice but don't like columns or ceiling
Note space-saving exercise setup with bar for TRX straps
