Kitchen Reno
Like the extra deep island with seating. Like the drapery for sliding door. Like the flooring and colours of the island and cabinetry. Maybe we'd have enough room for glass front cabinets on either side of our exhaust fan if it was centered on that wall and the window trims were more narrow than what we now have.
I love the apron front sink in stainless steel. I like that there are no upper cabinets, but that the backsplash tiles go up higher on the wall. The small island doesn't get in the way, and provides for extra storage which makes upper cabinets unnecessary. Some open shelves would be nice, but further from the stove.
Unique materials and appliances are seen here, with a kitchen layout that would work well in our house.
GREAT ideas here in this designer's own kitchen, particularly with the separation of the kitchen and living area.
Counter depth refrigerator flanked by pantry cupboard.
Microwave above gas range. Also the color combination: white cabinets with green backsplash, matching green wall color, and stainless steel appliances.
Counter Height Peninsula separating dining table from kitchen.
Round bench in corner?
Butcher block countertops paired with the plain white cabinetry.
Nice farmer's sink in white porcelain.
The tiled wall can go higher at some point. Like the open wooden shelves, and the apron sink.
I like the colour of the cabinets, the peninsula/bar and pendants.
Great colour to paint our cabinets. Beautiful floor tiles and light fixtures are perfect for galley layout in this kitchen.
Three drawers, with top one being narrower than bottom two. I like the cabinet style and hardware too.
I love this pull out organizer.
Hardwood flooring could match cabinetry.
I like the sink, the backsplash, the glass doors on upper cabinets, and the counter top.
Hardwood flooring in kitchen doesn't limit cabinet finishes and looks good with white walls.
Great storage idea for lids.
Is this a good way to disguise our ugly view outside of our windows? Is that a blind or is it more permanent?
I like the backsplash - herringbone pattern for subway tiles, with a darker grout color. I like the microwave/vent hood combination.
White cabinets, with wooden floors. Grey and blue makes it look and feel cottage-like.
Galley kitchen, with bank of cabinets and fridge along wall to the right of the sliding door.
DON'T use Black matte hardware. DON'T make hardware too small; consider proportionality.
