* I LOVE THIS - i love the slant, the open light, i think it fits your house.
Clean, maybe best example of what we're thinking so far. One angle, open, finished underneath

** In my worthless opinion: i feel the hot tub shouldnt be a hidden corner, incorporate it into the back patio with all the beautiful plants
Considered something like this between deck and hot tub, facing deck, some separation but still keep hot tub activity viewable (kid's only getting older).

too steep of an angle, don't like all the added supporting brace/angles -
** Agreed

Fan concept - i dig the curtain ideas, open or not, it has flow

accent wall feature? part of a side wall out from house to walkway? (by giant fern and crap cat tree that needs removing)

Want to mount new speakers on outside corners, facing house like today. Otherwise another clean example, but not fond of ceiling and beam angled features
** I dig that its all open plan, again, has good flow. I feel you could have more open space to the back wall

clean tongue and grove ceiling -

Clear or translucent roof instead? Robyn not a fan of the corrugated plastic panels here.
*** IF you do hard back walls, then the transparent ceiling will help it feel more open
Q

like in general, don't like the lights hanging down though, more recessed or more flush
** Love the extention of the beams
Q

accent wall on corner of house? No pergola -- we want fully covered
Q

kinda boring all one color

Cali water shortage, nice chair tho
Q
Photo
like the slim fan, nice ceiling, open, could consider flush speakers
Q

low bench idea between hot tub and decking
Q

gradual slope, lighting, clean posts. Still thinking of white ceiling like rest of house, not natural-ish stain.

accent wall idea. WE ARE NOT PUSHING FOR ACCENT WALL. :-) Just realizing there were some examples. Very much not sure about it. :-)
Q

open, fan, recessed lights

really like the open and lightness, but not the idea of grubby glass ceiling panels. Accent wall.
