Front Of House
Like this colour Sandstone - not too yellow
Love that the weathered timber pergola matches the roof tiles
Pergola looks nice if you want to avoid pillars. Shutter design very nice - could use for our top floor.
White timber pergola
Stone with black iron and stone pillar looks great
Love the stone - pillars just slightly taller look good.
Brick and timber combined
Stone fence ends up being quite unobtrusive
Really like the stone pillars with the low metal fence
sandstone and timber working well together
Pillars on fence with stone behind instead of timber
Fence pillars and front door pillars matching.
So maybe we just go 300 - 400mm higher than the brick wall is now. Make the posts 1.1/1.2m high so that at the boundary point between ours and Bev's we can run a side fence off that pillar. The hedge behind the fence will provide additional screening and soften the fence without hiding the house.
Like the shutters, garage door, posts on front verandah
Pergola would work nicely if the front of the house was sandstone
Half pillars
The half pillars would work perfectly for our pergola/roof at the front of the house. Could then match this on the fence at the front.
Like the black top on the fence. Like that the fencing isn't so thick it would obscure the house.
Shutters and painted bricks
Columns and shutters
Clear roof over the timber slats
