Do you have a tiny princess or pint-sized pirate in your midst? Many children become so enamoured with their favourite animated movies that not only do they watch them over and over, they also like to pretend they live in those worlds. These bedrooms – with elaborate decor that calls to mind favourite animated movies and fairy tales – give kids another vehicle into that world of imagination. Over-the-top fantasy bedrooms like these aren’t for everyone, but you may find details you’d like to borrow for your little adventurer’s room.

1. Cinderella

This princess-style bedroom evokes the one Belle uses while she’s held prisoner in the Beast’s castle. The elevated bed, with its thick and silky quilt and curtained canopy, invites you to throw yourself on it, even if Mrs Potts might not approve.

Wow! Some very negative people commenting about "Fantasy" bedrooms. I know my 6 year old Daughter would love her own princess themed room and if I had the extra cash that these people obviously do...I'd do it in a heartbeat! Fads may come and go, but the heart of a child doesn't and my daughter would treasure the Cinderella Carriage Bed and Frozen themed room for many years to come. She's very sentimental and it would be the exact opposite for us. My family would outgrow it before she did. I can't put a price tag on my child's feeling of being so special to us that we wanted her to have an amazing place to call her own and the wonderful dreams she'd have every night in that bed!! I love these so much!!
