Inga's ideas
Just saving notes about bathroom pocket doors.
Like the decorative tile, though not sure where we would use it? Perhaps just back entry? Or bathroom floor?
Just kinda like it.
similar window layout to ours. Could be workable (add island?)
similar again to our layout. think about moving fridge to center of wall, and putting shallower cabinet to right of friday (if layout same as our kitchen. Could swap where dishwasher and sink with cooker.
Sink in island pretty compact.
I like the green tile!
Another example of fridge by back door and kitchen island.
I like the funky tile.
We could do a sliding pantry door inside of side door. Could be a space saver.
I like this tile, perhaps for bathroom? :-)
Might try to do a design something like this. With fridge just inside of back door and island to separate the walkway space between front and back door. Kind of like Scott and Stacy's,
Rob likes drawer fridge and Inga does too. Prefers to side by side.
Back door entry is along lines of what we are thinking.
This one is called, "the Trump"
Small footprint. And too "white", but it incorporates window and looks nice.
Simliar layout. curious about the upper cabinets / single door. Still like the white counter top!
Inga likes hiding the microwave in island / below counter. We have also talked about making sure there is a "coffee station" sort of area, perhaps within the pantry / behind a door.
Cabin idea
I like cabinets that go to the ceiling. Blue tile is quite pretty.
Something like this possible if we removed wall and added sliding door in dining room?
Kind of like the dark blue cabinets! Also, layout might be similar to ours.
Curious if we could pull off a wall oven and fridge like this if we took out the wall between kitchen and dining (probably not... but just a thought.
I like the white countertops
sink under windows
Rob likes porcelain sink. Inga likes the floor to ceiling tile. Also, I kind of like the mix of painted and wood cabinets - but, too trendy?
Vent hood is placed relatively high... perhaps would not be too obtrusive.
Option with just a small island
Like tile all the way to ceiling and the shelves across the window could be useful in our space.
Combination of light and dark. Like the wood counter top on the island
simplicity. good use of cainets.
Like style and looking for a non-reclinery looking recliner
