Not sure the hues are what draws me but I like a lightish counter, offwhite walls, beams, flat wood cupboards and hardwood (though not necessarily cherry like here)

I don't mind this colour combo: bare beam, light flooring, white or off-white walls, darker smooth cupboards - as long as the dark cupboards isn't too dark.

I like the small tiling, and the window frame style. This style of small tile backsplash appeals to me for kitchen as well.

I like the door.

I don't mind this siding trim combo

This reminds me of the boxiness of the front of our house and what could be done externally.

I like the hue of this flooring as well, but not the glossiness in the white cupboards nor the finish of the 'wood' cupboards.

another view of siding that could work for us; what kind of siding is this?

more windows than we have but I don't mind this siding/trim combo

I like the wooden mantle, but would want a higher hearth - like a seating ledge. I like the hue of the cabinetry.

This is kind of boxy, like our house. I don't mind this siding and fascia and bard board.

I like the hue of this flooring, and like the shape of the window framing though would keep it bare wood.

The glossiness and finish on this flooring and these beams makes me think 'paneling'. I definitely do NOT liek this.

I like the brickwork around the gas fireplace, as well as having a hearth ledge. I like the width of this hardwood, not sure I'd go this dark.

I don't mind the fascia, soffitt, trim, cedar shake combo - not sure what will make sense for the exterior if the interior is west coast contemporary

I like the mirror frame, simplicity of window frames, tile in shower. Not excited about open bathroom shelving or wood counter tops in bathroom - that's just inviting rot.

I like the backsplash, and simplicity of window frames.

I like the basic base board, neutral paint colour, dresser style

I'd be fine with off-white walls with all the wood; basic baseboard and no other trim needed

I would LOVE this for our sunroom. Cross planks at 90 degrees to beams with good lighting. Ro & I agree with Katelynd, though, that our space is not big enough for all this texture. We'd settle for some beams and drywall in between, or if wood, then painted off white.

Not necessarily excited about gray but I don't mind the tile texture and a light counter top like this. I like the wood flooring and ceiling.

bay window idea; I like the door styles

I value the bare cedar look and feel; Rosemary says this collects dust so I'd settle for 'mat' finish, not glossy.

vaulted sunroom idea

The combination of brick work, window trim, light coloured wood flooring and off white walls appeals to me.
simple lines, light counter, appealing hardwood
