I like the dark wall as accent against light cabinets-we could really tie in the shower this way.

Backdrop of panels behind bed-I really think your wall would benefit from this addition-I don't think it would be terribly spendy, either, and BIG on the 'unexpected'.

I don't know that your furn arrangement would support this treatment, but would really make your windows look so much more grand. Also, don't know if this is trending, but again, the bedding.

Nancy, I love the detail of this mill work! Would look lovely across the wall with bed? Look to the left, on the other wall, the just did the top cove. If we use Jimmie, he could EASILY do this look. I could see it in a soft butter yellow and use shades of yellow to highlight the work.
Q
Photo
I like this color of blue/navy.
Q

I kind of like the look of a 'wood' base on bed, rather than fabric. Jimmie could do this easily-we could have him do in a cherry to match your furniture-could look really rich, and tailored.

How would you feel about plantation shutters? They're now avail in vinyl and cost has come down?

Window Treatments, soft yellow walls, and style of upholstery. This is something that inspires me in the 'feel' of the room. It's soft and inviting.
