lake house
Love the color of the tile in the shower and the contrast with the white. Gary and I tend to disagree on plantation shutters, I like them, he doesn’t care for them as much, but I think they work really well in a bathroom.
Like the built in seating in the shower as well as the glass doors, prefer this over a walk-in shower.
Like the shelving around the window and the lighting above. Having the back of the shelves a different material adds visual interest and texture.
Like the white feature wall that bed is against
Hydrangeas ❤️
Like the French door/transom window configuration
Like this interior, however, different colors to provide a bit more contrast
I like the lighter stone of the FP and the rustic mantle. Do not care for the chandelier but like the warmth of so many lights. Also really like the “nook” to the right of the FP.
Like this multi-functional use of space, particularly if the table can be used for sewing
I like the pots and the side light fixtures on the front door. Not sure that we have space but the windows above the door allow for extra light in the entryway
We use toothbrushes like this and I like the idea of being able to have them stored off the bathroom counter and the plug hidden and still accessible.
Under sink storage solution
Like the windows and doors.
This photo illustrates well the open shelving/“closed” shelving idea we were thinking would be helpful.
Pantry - like the open shelving, variety in shelving configuration to account for appliances, some drawer storage, workspace on the counter - pretty much everything.
I do have a ton of spices and would like to find a storage solution similar to this one. Also like having a spot for dish towels to dry and vertical; storage for cutting boards, cookie sheets etc.
More storage ideas that I like
Another possible storage idea - when in use, doors could be left open
Timelessness of the design. Edit: the floor is definitely too dark and I wouldn’t pick a light green subway tile. I do like the white cabinetry and countertops as well as the apron sink, wolf range, open and closed shelving.
Love the multi-functionality of the space (side bar/LR), beams, color scheme (contrast of white/blue/gray), but not the black fireplace. Stone would be the preferred material. Overall feel of the room is cozy and welcoming which is what we would like to achieve.
Love the idea of having an iron already set up in the closet. Another alternative would be a pull down type board on the wall in the laundry room, however, for this solution to be useful, it would have to be sturdy.
Love the counter to ceiling window, makes space and doing dishes/cleaning up more inviting. Not sure that I like the black framing around the windows? I also love the contrast of the blue/gray island (as well as the color itself) and the white countertop
Shingle color and trim - definitely has a beach/ocean feel to it. Also really like the wrap around porch
Love the storage configuration, provides a place for everything with visual reminders. Doors/slider is needed
love the ceiling and beams
love the built-ins and efficient use of what would otherwise be empty wall space.
love the warm wood tone of the wall but would use driftwood or similar color to (could you use driftwood or similar). Like the sink faucet combo, but prefer in a white/lighter palate.
Really like the flooring, tub, white cabinets.
love the clear glass gray tile!
I like this idea for Organization in for closet
Assuming this is a mud room, like the corkboard and bench, storage
Storage idea - keeps appliances off the counters but need to consider if having the cabinet door open when appliance is in use is feasible, given potential space limitations.
Certainly wouldn’t need this much storage for jewelry, but cool idea that I would like to incorporate
like this storage idea - seems to be an efficient use of space, which we feel is absolutely necessary
Undercabinet lighting, open shelving, really like most everything about this except wall color. Not a fan of pastels
love this!
really drawn to the sink area/windows, apron sink, bead board ceiling, however, seems somewhat traditional, predictable.
like that the cooking hood blends in, cutting board within the kitchen island
is that an office with a wall hide-a-bed? interesting idea...
like the window seat with shelving below and in the wall. want to use all space efficiently.
this feels east coast beach to me...kind of like it
the fixture - love the polished finish and the simplicity but elegance in the design
