I think we have one very similar (but larger) like this in a box and we paid ~$1,000 -- it's in storage right now because we did not have a spot for it after all. Maybe we should pull it out for over the kitchen island to see if the scale is right for that space?? This is a reminder to Heidi to ask Todd where he stored it.
Soft light, indirect.
Two bulbs for indirect up and down lighting.
We have these currently at our home and they age, patina wonderfully. :)
Indirect light is probably best at the lake to not interfere with the experience of the amazing stars, the simmering water and night. Simple. Clean. Minimal. Inexpensive.
I'm boring, but I like the simplicity of this-- it may be too casual for how cool the house is going to be, though.
Maybe this would have soft, indirect light that is minimally intrusive to the lake at night?
Instead of a BBQ deck, how can we make that a glass enclosed balcony room? Roofing would have to change to accommodate that...
Becca, can we have these doors?! Love them!!
Small built-in desk in library wall??
Library area over great room
Just enough dark pieces to not be completely boring but not be cave-like
Cool water feature
