Master Bath Remodel
Recessed fixtures
Like the shimmery tile on the upper half of the shower wall.
Don't like this design, but this is a good idea to mirror the front of an upper tower - to visually reduce its bulk. Mirror design should mimic the design of the flanking mirrors.
Size of front edge on countertop looks very elegant. Like this entire vanity wall - with recessed center tower, narrow mirrors and sconces on either side and towel bars - but couldn't do that on Jim's side without modifying the wall return.
Love color of cabinets
Like the glass shower doors - but prefer saved photo with six (instead of 4) vertical panels.
Love the shower doors
Dark floor in bath to blend with dark wood in hallway?
Note that tile behind vanity extends all the way down to the countertop. Also, although the shower uses marble tiles, they are in the same herringbone pattern as the tile above the vanity.
Idea: glass tile around tub surround?
Like the colors - would blend well with existing furniture in adjoining bedroom and with planned dark maple hardwood floors in hall/bedroom. Looks like grass cloth - how would that hold up in masterbath with daily use?
Like cabinetry style. How would it look in white?
Like plants around bathtub
Like shell art
Another view - love the side chair in the bathroom. Idea: find a similar "formal: flea market chair and paint/reupholster to match bath.
White cabinetry, light counter tops, touches of green
Love a dramatic tile behind mirrors/vanity because its the first thing seen when you walk in the bathroom. Be SURE to order mirrors first and make sure there are 2x4s in wall behind the tile, where mirrors will be hung.
Notice the repetition of arches - like our bath.
interplay of dark/light elements
Glacier Marble Collection by Marble Systems, Inc.
Like the walled shower, much less glass to wipe down and gives you additional places to put recessed niches.
Great rustic powder room, but I would use a glass or off-white vessel sink without pattern.
light, but not white. nice creamy colors
Pretty combo of white tiles and stone-look trim
Love the opening to outdoors
Like mix of tile patterns
Like the ledge going all the way across the rear wall, but if we did this then we couldn't put the bench on this wall.
