Places, and rooms within the home, should be defined and designed around lifestyle, not just around sitting all day. And when sitting, the spaces should have their own social scenarios and contexts. This place is so diverse, so happening, the kind of place where you can easily spend have a day, 2/3's of a day, or all evening without knowing where the time went. A large group of people can easily blend into this space all doing their own thing, breaking down into smaller groups. A little bit of fooseball, a little bit of screen time, a little bit table tennis, onlookers sitting in the middle watching, this place has room for it all. Fooseball and table tennis = +++
Lots of rocks, lots of water, and water falling, very hard to go rock with a combination of these three. And the straw hut look to the roof in the back adds another touch of unique identity, this place is almost like an exercise of storytelling transplanted into the garden from a different time and era, to be relived here.
A symmetrical space with a diagonal, slanted insertion of the pool into the space. Whereas white is common, this place has a more peach feel to it, making it different. Different tables and chairs create different huddle space all in one nicely zoned social area, roof = protection from the elements. And the place looks majestic.
The space and lighting is not only warm, but different types of warm. Different strengths of light, different types of yellow, different types of warm. The sharp rugged space contrasts the warmth perfectly to ensure the space does not become to sleepy or mellow. The rugged/raw roofing, the green from the windows, the size of the windows letting in all that greenery, the fire place; all combine to make this space just amazing.
The colors, the layout, from this view even the furniture concentrically arranged itself becomes part of the view, then the view of the water itself and how all the seating makes use of the same waterfront, the colors the lighting, everything is stunning. This space is created like a work of art. Captivating.
Not 10/10 but still charming. Bright colors used, but mildly so. Yellows give it a warm, sunny vibe that probably matches well to create the an airy, upbeat feel when the sunlight comes in.
Warm, soothing, but regal.
Good use of the space to organize things where they are prominent, but also segregated away into their own spaces. Organized, but happening kind of space; mixed.
Colors are a little off, but effective, creative, and intricate use of space adds visual excitement and different layers of visual perception as well as different dimensions of types of use to the space. So many kinds of use and so much meaning attached to the same limited space make something more out of less.
Rich and stimulating colors but also extremely cozy and warm feel at the same time.
Can't go wrong with lots of white and creme.
Very earthy, natural, serene feel, earth/rock with wooden frames and green flora.
Extremely minimalistic, orange of the fire contrasts beautifully with the blue of the sky, reflection of fire on water, awesome effect.
Simple, raw.
Creative, mix of colors, grey rocks around fire, white seats.
Uncommon color combo, Enchanting, inviting, very soothing, but strangely exciting because of the rich blue colors.
