Step Inside a Designer’s Modern Scandinavian-Style Desert Home
In this episode of Houzz TV Live, designer Kaitlyn Wolfe of Iconic Design + Build gives a virtual tour of her home in Scottsdale, Arizona. In the kitchen, Wolfe repurposed the former cabinets and painted them a dark charcoal color to contrast with the new light white-oak flooring, white walls and glossy white picket backsplash.
She also removed a wall to open the kitchen to the living room, where a large gray fabric sectional joins a vintage Knoll coffee table and two leather chairs. A new storage niche with a floating high-gloss white cabinet and floating shelves gives Wolfe a place to display antiques and other accessories. In the master bedroom, panels of hot-rolled steel cover the headboard wall, giving the space an industrial vibe that’s softened by an upholstered bed frame.

You make it look easy. The bedroom wall in hot rolled steel is awesome. I've had my eye on this material recently. I've seen it used as fireplace surrounds and hood vents, but not as an accent wall. And, I love the living room sectional. It's got so much attitude and suits the space. Thank you for sharing your home.
