As one enters the home, a wooden grid partition segregates the foyer from the living area while maintaining a visual connection. The arched passageway and grey Pietra marble flooring add character to the space. On the left of the entrance is the library. A 3-BHK was converted into 2-BHK to create this room. Behind the grid is a contemporary living room swathed in shades of blue and white.
“We wanted a larger living room since we love entertaining so we kept the interiors fluid and interactive rather than closing off walls,” says Shah.

Expansive windows bathe the living room with natural light. The TV is mounted on a white statuario-marble accent wall. To maximise sunlight and views, the curtains roll behind the marble wall.

The living room opens to the kitchen and dining area.
“The dining table has seating for eight and is right between the living area and the kitchen. The wall beside the window is decorated with art from The Plated Project.
A kitchen island with a quartz countertop and flanked by two black stools doubles as a cosy breakfast table. The wall paint is by Jotun.
In the master bedroom, the grey palette gets boost with a splash of tan. Behind the bed, a marble partition segregates the wardrobe from the sleeping area.
Two mesh pendant lamps and grey side tables flank the bed. A bench by the window is a nice spot to enjoy the views.

The wall opposite the bed provides continuity to the grey colour scheme.
A restrained colour palette of greys and soft pastels gives a soothing vibe to the guest bedroom.
The guest bedroom connects to the living room via a balcony. The warm woody notes from the flooring are juxtapose with the rustic clay brick tiles on the ceiling. An outdoor single-seater swing completes the look.
