The DIY concrete floor finishing products are rarely up to "snuff" for a living situation. Most are meant to be put down in a garage where it doesn't matter if it bubbles and lifts in a year or two. Many have failed because of wrong application technique, wrong use, wrong product for the concrete, etc. A finished concrete floor in a new build is a great option. The concrete professionals will get the surface ready for polishing. The concrete floor finisher (may be a different person than the guy who installed the slab) will come in and clean/shot blast the concrete and add a layer of appropriate, high-end, high-density concrete. This concrete is then stained (if you want it) or if you want simply polished and coated with appropriate epoxy. It may take more than 1 application of the stain/epoxy to get the look you are after. This is not a "money" saving product...it is a lifestyle finish that is equal to (in price) other medium/high end finishes. It is very important to understand the quality of concrete seen with a normal slab/subfloor is NOT good enough to be polished and stained. The red brick wall as a backdrop sounds very interesting. You can get quirky posters of various liquor brands like Jack Daniels, Chivas etc in black and white and get it framed and put them on the wall. Also industrial look is very in so the bar top can be done using a copper sheet over a plywood top instead of traditional granite or marble. Also utilise any empty beer bottles or wine bottles to make a customised chandelier. For stools you could have wrought iron stools with leather seats matching the brick wall. In moderate budget you can go with vitrified tiles of any brands like RAK, Kajaria,Somany etc they have quiet decent collection and variations suitable for living room. If you are looking at large living room then ,granite also can be option with minimal joints single or two shade combination work well cost would be 150 rs per sft on wards including laying. Italian marble definitely has seamless finish which can add richness to the living room ,cost including laying would start from 350 rs per sft on wards depending on the marble shade grains and thickness purchased. If you are the one who would love to explore new materials then,there are many other options like polished concrete flooring , Epoxy or rustic tile floors etc which is good value add .
