need help for my own room

i have a room which is big enough with a size of about 16 ft by 25 ft attached with a small room sized 9 ft by 12 ft.
i need to make a layout of my bedroom which would have a bed, tv area, walking wardrope and a bathroom... can anybody plz help me with the same

10 years agoOh my, I step away for awhile and everything has changed. Glad Fred is on board. Glad to see the wet room pic - thx Fred. Pankaj did you ever reply to my question about how you prefer to enter the bathroom? I think Opt #2 may still be viable too. That's if you don't mind this type of entry into the bathroom. The shower could stay by the window if it is indeed set up like Fred mentioned. I personally would want to move the toilet from the original location regardless.

The outer side of the platform could have drawers or doors to the storage units under the platform. This kind of enclosure would work better for a twin bed than for a double, but it would provide a place where the bed can be concealed during the day time. Comments (8)I assume that the pieces you have displayed in this corner are items that mean a lot to you. I remember being a newlywed and had to do solely with what I had on hand to make our house feel like our very own home. I added/replaced pieces a little at a time and finally completed the look I was envisioning. Below is my suggestion on how to get the items a bit more balanced to the eye. But in the end, I believe that the decors in your home all depends on how they make you feel in your heart when you look at them. The first one made use of some books and made sure the wall outlet was hidden within the wall shelf - assuming there is no constant need to use them. The second is an example where if you can buy only one piece to add, I suggest a piece to completely cover the outlet and take advantage of the conversational bubble style of the wall shelf. Comments (10)Hello Soumya, If the make is similar the changed colors may not look as great. The best bet would be to wait for a couple of days as this is festive period most of the goods would be out of stock. But they would be addding to the stocks soon. Add it to wish list , if the website allows you to... Another option would be to go with accent chairs as you mentioned already. The make and finish being different wouldn't matter as much. I think the window in the bathroom is fine. Now that I have a better idea of what is a standard bathroom in India, I believe your builder is correct the way he did it. I think you don't need to change the size of the window but you certainly need to frost it.
I think your wash basin is big enough to have room to put towels under just like in the image.
As for the closet, it is hard to say how big is the closet in the image you showed us but I think yours will be smaller. However, I think you still have a pretty good size closet. Personally I would be happy to have a closet that big.

10 years agoPankaj, I think your wash basin is so big, it will look too empty if you don't have 2 sinks. As for what to do to fill the space on wall D, I don't know really. You could put a plant on the corner and add a nice big wall art between the wash basin and the plant. In the floor plan below, I also added a long mirror on wall B and a bench on wall I.
Let me know if you want other changes. Once you are happy with the floor plan, I will email it to you.

10 years agoPankaj, just to tell you I made a mistake on the length of the vanity. It is 4'-8" not 6'-2". I am going to email you this one.

10 years agoPankaj, I just realized that initially you told us that the bathroom area was 12'-0" x 9'-0" and later you mentioned that it was 11'-8" x 8'-0". In the last floor plan, I forgot to change the bathroom with the new dimensions. Below is the floor plan with the correct dimensions for the bathroom. The bedroom is ok, I drew it 19'-2" x 12'-6". The new layout does not change the way things are placed. Everything still fit. The only difference is that the vanity is now 4'-4" long instead of 4'-8". and the toilet is closer to the shower by 1'-0".
Can you give me the lengths of the walls K and L. They are the walls between the vanity and the shower area. I will send you the new layout once you give me the length of these 2 walls.
