The choice of Laminate vs Painted vs Veneer would be how you would be using your kitchen and sometimes personal preference as well. 1. Laminate finishing in your kitchen would allow you to have a great choice of colours from woodgrain, pastel, gloss, etc. Laminates are also more resilient to scratching and wear. 2. Spray paint finishing depends on the type of colour you choose, will give the cabinet a real nice feel especially in a matt type white finish. Spray painted finishes do have a con with chipping and scratches in the long run. 3. veneer is made out of natural wood and if you are someone who likes the natural and warm finishing of a natural looking wood finish, this would be a good choice. Although veneer has a high tendency for scratches and marking, so you would need to have special care with it.

Hello Arbin, In bath the tiles are usually anti skid and need to have a rough area to avoid accidents/slips. Depending on the water contents of your area you will see marks on them. However, when it comes to floor area , matt finish are easier to mantain for high traffic areas. No doubt glossy tiles provides a better look but it requires more care. If you don't have a big family and can mantain glossy tiles go for it..

Hello, There shouldn't be much of a difference. However, Matt finish would be better from long term perspective. Some optical mouses do not work properly on glossy surfaces (in case you are planning for using one). You can also add a removable glass top if you are keen on maintenance part. I've used both glossy and matte, but I personally prefer matte. It never goes out of style. Glossy laminates are higher maintenance too, and show finger prints and scratches easily. Matte remains neat. Also, when you cut an angle out of a glossy laminate, I find the edges are not as neat as in the case of matte
