I bought new house in which kitchen size is 6x8 and there is lobby attach to it .It is open kitchen as well.firstly i want to create privacy by division for living room as well.Due to open region outside our locality we need to cover the lobby by grills or window grills .So my query comes here first

1.How to cover that lobby areas in kitchen that provide air inside as well and also not affecting the security concern and how to create division as well between kitchen and living room.I know my kitchen is small but i need certain guidance from your end.Please provide certain pics for the same.

I'm not sure I understand your question, so my answer might not apply. I take it that you will be installing security grills on your windows? Would a curtain work between the lobby and kitchen? What kind of division would you want between the kitchen and living room? An actual wall? Can you provide photos?

asrabanu, the image did not come through as Houzz requires specific image formats for posting. Perhaps you can save the image as a .jpg for uploading. In my own experience, Home Depot (in Canada) does not charge for kitchen drawings. however, I am not comfortable saying "go get work done for free and then hire somebody else". What's more, I have found that you can purchase a Home Depot kitchen at far less cost than through specialty kitchen suppliers. But, as Marina say, your best bet--even if working with Home Depot or its equivalent--is to find a designer that can help you get the most out of the expenditures you make. There are many variables, but in a recent kitchen, we saved 25000+ over an equivalent designer kitchen with a good design concept that could be created out of lesser cost pieces, assembled to look custom. And, if going with any kind of box or contract-build type supplier, remember to build in time to fix errors and expect to use both the installer and a carpenter to achieve the custom look.

Hello Pete, It is indeed tricky to select the laminate from small sample patches. We feel it is often misleading as the small section is just a 2 inch piece cut out from a 8ft x 4ft sheet. Depending on your location you can do either. Check on Merino website .They would show images of the full sheet and if you are lucky even real life application of the same. Hello Sagar, Could you share a wider angle picture. Have you considered removing the 2 electric boards before having an additional wall cabinet. Hello Gopi, Moving the hob towards the center will bring it too close to the sink. Will not be an ideal placement. You can move it too wall 3 centre though (if that is possible as a window is there). There are slight issues, the corner drawers and doors will hit each other when opened. How are you hiding your chimney duct. Please talk to your designer/vendor about these. Thanks.
