Need suggestion for the main floor layout

We are planning to renovate our house completely. But are actually confused if we are utilizing our space completely. Also, we are trying to keep the columns without any changes and trying minimal shifting of the walls.
I have attached the existing plan, proposed plan by the architect, and changes required in new plan with reference to existing plan.
The total area is 390 sq. yd (approx)
Dimensions are : 45' x 75' / 50' x 78' (approx)
Any guidance/suggestion would be appreciable.

Have added a couple of small changes that I would implement if this were my project ... Just to create a hallway storage and seating option to keep it tidy. Adding in a serving area in the kitchen - that can double up as a snack eating area. And having a raised central area for dining and casual seating - so gives it more definition as an area in it's own right - rather than a couple of sofas in the space that's left !

Are you adding a second level? If so it would be helpful to attach it as well.

Hello April, It's an old wood floor and each slab of wood accepts the stains differently so getting exact match is very difficult. Sanding, staining and repolishing the existing flooring to match the new floor is a likely solution to your dilemma. Its a messy and time taking procedure though. Easier way out would be to check with original vendor if he still sells the same variety. Or request them to visit with some other matching samples. Thanks, Nitin CORNERSTONE DESIGNS Bangalore.

Yeah @Isuru. @Rajesh, For the open kitchen you need to consider few points 1) Your cooking pattern--- The kitchen cooking aroma will spread in the whole house . Understand the intensity and think twice. 2) The place should or must always be clean as its open . 3) There is no service area or wash area provided in the kitchen. 4) Access from porch is as good as one of the main entrance passage for outsider, if the guest is entering from there, you will have to consider to keep it presentable all the time. There are so many points to consider while making or designing as open kitchen and your kitchen is nearby the main entrance. So please think considering all the points and decide.

@OnePlan Thanks for the input. I liked the idea of serving as well as snack eating area.

@Dytecture Yes, we are adding a second level, which would have 3 bedrooms, some gym area and a pantry. But we will get it designed after the ground level is finalized.
We have thought to add 2 bedrooms (above the existing bedrooms at ground level) along with some outer balcony in the back area. 1 more bedroom above the kitchen. Gym area above the mezzanine floor at ground level (which also has small store in basement). Open terrace above the parking.

We are more confused about the exit to the back (Parking) which is currently from the master bedroom. Also, if any of the room can be shifted elsewhere, instead of two adjoining rooms.
