Try a less intense color for the bricks.

Too many things going on. Always better to do one or two things very well then a whole bunch of stuff mediocre.

I think the problem is the verticality of that long glass window. Extend the balcony from the middle of the house all the way across. That way you still have the tall window but it feels more like part of the upstairs, not a tall glass chimney. Just my opinion.

Hi Rina. .. thanks for the photo... The straight line window is definitely looking better than the curved 1. what if the roof above the window is also straight lined and not sloped? will that b better? and I really like the chimney in the inspiration pic, can that be made exactly? my architect is unable to understand what I want or mayb I'm not able to explain him!! he is making the top portion of the chimney too bulky n huge compared to the rest of the lower part.
And being Red my favorite color I would love the bricks to be red or dark red/ brownish color, which you can see in the above pic added from another device via my mom's account.

Hi again. Sorry about the delay in replying, it's early morning here now. I love the dark brick colour in your second pic; I'd go with that, I think. I also like the no-chimney version, but is it practical? Do you need the chimney, functionally?

Below I've reduced the chimney cap, and run the balcony across as Sanoslhauper suggested. I think you're right about the flat roof on the tower section, but haven't drawn that in because I can't work out what is going on behind it.

I agree that there is too much going on, however some of the suggestions are costly and in my opinion don't completely take care of the problems. I like the design approach it is fresh and updated. I agree that the chimney cap is out of proportion and just needs a simple band at the top. In order to make the exterior remain timeless over the years, Now Sit Down for a minute, I would make all of the exterior the white color. I know you love red however this will tie the different components of the architecture together more than any thing else. You can still have high gloss red doors and red tile pavers on the ground. It would also be very classy the use white tile in place of the brick look. You could even mix gloss white tiles with matt finish tiles to give an interesting sparkle when you ride by.

I like the wrought iron upper railing, but the vertical blocking on the right side looks too heavy. So I would continue the same railing around the corner and back toward the house until it connects to the other balcony railing. This also ties the house together. It would look much more classic to not have a grid in the tall window and instead have a solid piece of glass down to the transom and then from there down be solid glass as well.

Glass block in the courtyard column sections with back lights would look unbelievable. I would arch the closed in section on the second level as it would show up more there than the window being arched does, so save the money and don't arch that window. I would either hang a long contemporary light on the right elevation to dress it up or insert a long strip of glass block lighted from the interior to achieve the same effect.

Rina, You don't need to say sorry, in fact i m really thankful to u for your valuable suggestions. I am from Delhi here we do not need Chimney, it is just for decoration.
But the balcony above the driveway is not permissible (as per the FAR), so we can not extend it. You can do the flat roof on the tower section, in this tower its the stairs and the elevator and behind the tower its a room. below i have attached another 3d which was made earlier prior to the slopes.

Here's a version with the flattened roof on the tower -- is this what you were thinking? A small change from the slightly shortened roof I did previously, I definitely like it better, though ideally it should have a small overhang to echo the lower part of the roof -- however that doesn't seem possible on the right as the building goes right up to the boundary line. I've suggested a small overhang in front.

Is the small balcony on the tower important to you? Would you consider not having it?
