Pankaj, I just realized that initially you told us that the bathroom area was 12'-0" x 9'-0" and later you mentioned that it was 11'-8" x 8'-0". In the last floor plan, I forgot to change the bathroom with the new dimensions. Below is the floor plan with the correct dimensions for the bathroom. The bedroom is ok, I drew it 19'-2" x 12'-6". The new layout does not change the way things are placed. Everything still fit. The only difference is that the vanity is now 4'-4" long instead of 4'-8". and the toilet is closer to the shower by 1'-0". Can you give me the lengths of the walls K and L. They are the walls between the vanity and the shower area. I will send you the new layout once you give me the length of these 2 walls.

coming to the dining area..yes id say you remove the seating entirely and concentrate on a foyer area since you already have space for a drawing room on the floor.. id suggest erecting a glass and marble wall in line with the wall that runs between the pooja room and the bedroom..say a bit of marble-glass-marble-glass-marble.in this case you have a small foyer area demarcated by this wall feature.you can deck it up by placing a nice console table in front of the central marble wall with a nice mirror to reflect the space and make it look larger or a sculpture with beautiful bracket lights on either side to accentuate the same.and on the backside of this wall you could have a crockery unit with a huge painting or a cluster of family snaps above it. if you could brief me a little on the look you're adapting for your house i could suggest some more treatments for the walls.if you want to avoid using too much marble you could also opt for a marble wood and glass look where you could take out some concealed storage for shoes etc. regarding the drawing room - what about a huge 4 seater in the center instead of 2 - two seaters with a table in the middle as in the plan..if you remove the central coffee table maybe you could replace the single seater with a chaise for 2 and also replace the 2 center tables with a nice long table in the center with an area rug running below it..if you could help me with the room dimensions maybe we could add 2 pouffes in front of the 4 seater so it creates more seating and doesnt obstruct the view if you plan to put a TV on the wall. what look do you have in mind for your terrace garden ? something zen or a little rustic toeing on the lines of the contemporary ? sorry for the late reply as i was travelling.. hope this helps! :)

Hey Rohit, One thing we have learned that it is difficult to convert our weaknesses to strengths, but it is very doable! 42' of living and dining room space could be advantageous! off the top of our heads, here are a few things you could do. Split the space into formal and informal seating areas, basically creating 2 rooms (not counting the dining) in one space Push the dining in the middle of the room, closer to the middle bedroom, and add a swing near the balcony. In case the large size makes it uncomfortable, you can add a partition between the dining and balcony. and design the space in a way that opening the balcony doors, converts your indoors to outdoors, creating the feel of a terrace. lastly, the simplest of solutions would be to add a partition (solid or otherwise) to divide in room into 2 parts, a living space and a dining space! And you can have different designs in different rooms but there should ideally be some elements which should be the same throughout. For instance, I like to use the same wood veneer finish throughout, but the designs could be different in each room. Or like Cornerstone Design says, the children's room alone can be different. I prefer not to make the children's room something that is too 'kiddie', so I opt for a more classic design for the Master bedroom, but keep it simpler and similar for the others, with some small differences. Sometimes clients feel cheated if they don't get something different for each room, so it is the job of the designer to convince them
