Starting with the bedroom suites...have your bedding selected. Choose a color that coordinates. You can accent the headboard walls with a darker color and carry that darker color into bathroom on the walls, or continue bedroom color and carry the accent color into your towels and shower curtain. I would paint kitchen and 2 dining room walls the same color, selecting a darker color for the drama in the dining room and contrast with your kitchen cupboards (such as your green color). The other walls in your living room, foyer and hallway, should be your neutral color such as a camel or warm gray. This neutral is bumping up against all of your other room colors. So, it will make a good transition from room to room. On the bold side, you could find a great wallpaper for the two walls in the dining room. Don't forget to play up your foyer with furniture for that first look impact. Selecting your bedding first, allows you to tweak your paint color and hue, and the darkness of your color. Enjoy.

I strongly second One Plan's idea about looking for another architect. If this one is not motivated, all the fame in the world is not going to help. An alternative approach to finding an architect is to find some good contractors who have built things you like. Ask them for architects' names. Make sure they work in your price range. In the meantime, you can find out from your local building department what the set back and height restrictions are. Are you required to build parking areas or garage space, what kind of airspace restrictions do you have for neighbors' views and sunlight, that kind of thing. Often this stuff is on city websites or handouts at the office.

Hello there, If the border of the diamond is green and inlaid marble is white that is fine; the vice-versa is great too. But to enhance the aesthetics, you need to do a diamond polish on them. Further, choose your furniture of a neutral or white accent instead of dark wood grains. Green borders are good too but try to keep them slim 3" for skirts. Any design could be bonded to any space, there's no rule for them. Just go with your imagination and choose color contrasts as you like. Whatever reference images you've selected, you should notice that the entire house is painted white as in a blank canvas. Decor and furniture go on top of that. Second, you should see the ceiling height, Since they are double height and high ceilings, it needs something to keep the space grounded and cozy. Hence the dark floors pull them down and give it an intimate arena. If you want to achieve the same feat, I would consider using mirrors and colored glasses as decor frequently and keep the interior paint scheme in white.
