Comments (35)I like this tile as well. Very sleek and mod looking. I would consider running it vertically instead of the picture horizontal pattern. It might give the illusion of more height in the shower surround. The color is great. If you are worried about it being "too much," you could always see if they have the same tile in a different shade and mix the two or doing one wall in a contrasting (lighter) color. I personally like it as long as you have good lighting....See MoreDesign of master bathroom
Comments (7)It's a bit hard to tell, it looks like some of the proportions are not correct. Given what you have drawn it looks like entering and exiting your shower is going to be awkward. I'm not certain that you'll be able to open the door all the way because of the placement of the tub and vanity. Here are a few suggestions: Ditch the corner tub, and use a rectangular one that is installed with the long end on the wall opposite the vanity and shower and install the toilet next to the tub. Slide the door to the right, and you'll be able to have a larger vanity and/or shower. If you can use a pocket door or something of the like you'll gain wall space like sandpat mentioned. I don't see any storage planned. Have you thought about where you'll keep towels, toiletries, etc-?...See MoreNeed help to design my master bathroom
Comments (5)I currently have the same problem! I wanted that but the tiler didn't do it. I saw it after the shower was finished tiling (when I got home from work). They told me it was too difficult to cut the porcelain tile in a triangle shape and install. I did some research and I can't find a product that can hold weight, even if it is just to shave my leg! I suppose I should have had a triangle corner with a base (that wasn't floating) but I think it is too late. Hopefully someone can tell both of us a better answer. Just realize this was posted July 2014....... where you able to solve the problem??????...See MoreBusy floor design tips ..help
Comments (3)Hi Jiya, For sure this has gone over the top.. not going into that.. To tone it down we can remove the terracotta red color on the walls . It can be replaced with white color on the brick wall. Window frame color if changed to lighter shades would be great as well. The line where the two floors meet may have to be covered with a uni tone area rug. The sqaure shaped dining bench gives the room a sidey restaurant like feel? Can we not change it . For the curtains and Sofa furnishings , please do not take one with any patterns on it.. uni colored ones with an accent piece would be better.. Thanks, Nitin CORNERSTONE DESIGNS Bangalore....See MoreS&K Interiors LLC
