Comments (5)Good point, I chose to have the tall cabinets towards the entrance because it would be nice to have a more open feeling by the window and to have more light into the kitchen. The other option might be reversing the layout on the fridge / sink wall to have sort of zic zac idea ... it's totally a personal choice....See MoreAny scope to improve this layout?
Comments (9)Following will be costly and my mobile editing is not so good(bear with me Main door, change to double panel. Opening inside(current left side opening from outside is no good). Kitchen door... to open outside. Single/double panel?(your choice as per ground reality) Move sofa+tv accordingly. You see ppl outside your main door. Anyone walking outside dont see your TV Demolish full wall separating dining/kitchen. Demolish half wall separating drawing room/kitchen. Move fridge to that half wall(its marked €). TV side of wall can be made a feature wall with differentiating painting or wallpaper that may carry on to TV.. upto main door. Move stove(NW kitchen, so cook facing west, vastu). Small stove area, but functional. If there is money, design n replace the dining table to serve dual purpose.. a kitchen island++dining table and lit up with nice dropping lighting....See Moreplacement of the chimney
Comments (13)Hello there, you have got ample space between walls which are void of top storage units. Try installing the hob near the microwave and use the existing duct to cover the chimney vent. The only civil work involved is drilling a hole for the chimney in the wall area below lintel beam near the window. The only interior work added is an extra small top unit for covering the chimney . You could also install an exhaust fan into the window directly. It is more powerful and cheaper than a chimney and well suited for Indian Kitchens. Comments (15)I like what you did on the previous TV wall, a lot. Now I suggest, let that be the only piece of bright colour in your space, and pull designs for cushions from there. I suggest colour rest of the walls (+Doors on the side facing the room) in a neutral, warm white, matte finish color. The wall behind the blue sofa, is it tile? Can it be coloured over? Also, are you in a rented space or is it your own house? That would help understand if you can make semi permanent changes....See Moreheather_11
