The design is ok. On first look, the space around sink is a bit less, you may have trouble keeping dishes after washing. But that could be due to layout. It is a small kitchen. I prefer ceiling height cabinets to avoid dust gathering dead space. Even space above the fridge may have cabinet to store rarely used pieces of crockery. Chimney with its exhaust pipe is a must, not an afterthought. Consider under-cabinet light for workspace lighting; essential in my opinion. I also recommend lighter color of cabinets for this space. Too dark is too dingy, looks cheap and requires more maintenance. But that’s just my opinion. Have fun!

Let me put it in short,"I am looking for options that give modern facilities without leaving good things from old charm/ comforts. " Thanks for the straight forward comments. Many thanks for your valuable comments. 1. My intention of raised cabinets was to clean it daily, as cabinets that touch floor accumulate lot of dust and food particles below. If we rule out steel legs, any inputs on raised floor only of cabinet area and then cabinets?(Just like plinth in modular cabinets- but this will be permanent and of tiles) I have not seen such structure anywhere, so curious if it will work. Otherwise I will go with traditional ones. 2. Moving pooja out of kitchen is very difficult as other rooms are just enough for their function. Currently a small Mandir is attached on wall where Fridge is shown in layout. I thought the new area could be little extra for all pooja related things. Will like to know the reason of your recommendation, is it odd in whole design, or not suitable in area .. or anything else? How about moving it to corner of dining area?

At first glance, the kitchen looks bland. You need more attractive handles for your cupboards. Also, the colour of the tiles really doesn’t match the brick design and the wood finish. The cupboards themselves could have been placed in a more practical manner. The handles at the bottom of cupboards suggest they are opening from the bottom. That would be uncomfortable for the individual opening it, at that height. The cupboard doors could open right onto the face of the person. The topmost cupboards are too high, making their use extremely limited. A good interior design company could have designed a more aesthetic and practical kitchen for you. You can still consult an experienced home renovation company to make the changes you need.
