Ganesh in the place of the mirror to greet you and your guests as Goddess Lakshmi is supposedly behind him, will create more prosperity to the household. A recessed focal light from the ceiling to highlight its beauty. Another silver empty frame placing behind Ganesh, similar to the mirror to frame the idol or a Rajasthani silver jali work piece that way the wall behind would not look empty either! The beautiful mirror can be placed where you have the Ganesh now, that way the positive energy coming into your house does not get bounced back or out...

It looks like a small room to me. I cant suggest a placement plan with knowing the plan. But some tips I guess may work for the corner. 1 . Use no temple. 2, use Dias and Mirror 90' Degree on the walls. to reflect idol in the mirror. 3, Many small one medium size Idol is better than too large one or two many small ones. 4. Use glass temple . 5. Make hanging temple if cant change the corner. 5. Don't use anything over and under as storage.

Hi...NE is preferred as 1st option for pooja room. Construction shud be such that, keep god idols/photos facing EAST. Your sitting position shud face WEST. Door shud open towards EAST (right hand side). Once u enter, U turn left towards WEST and sit. This is best and gives better results.

The welcoming bronze Idol with flower garland in the hands is a cute idea. And the walkway to reach Radha Krishna in the Brindhavan wading through a stream of water & pebbles is a uniquely brilliant idea which simply stands apart from the herd thinking. The designer has actually mimicked a mini version of Brindavanam. And a center hanging bell is awesome. Hats off to his creative thinking.
