Help me design my front garden beds!

Hey everyone,

We're in the midst of landscaping our front yard and could really use some brainstorming help for the garden beds flanking our walkway. We've got a good handle on some elements, but we're stumped on the design for these specific areas.

Our current design includes Incrediball hydrangeas with a Soft Touch holly hedge. We'll also have space for annual flowers in front of the hedge on the far left and right sides of the house (outside of the walkway beds).

The first picture attached is a rough sketch of the plants mentioned above and the trees we know we will be using, though it doesn't show the final size of the walkway garden beds.

What we're struggling with is the design for the garden beds directly to the left and right of the walkway leading to our front door. The left garden bed is approximately 12 feet wide by 11 feet deep and the right garden bed is roughly a right triangle, 14 feet wide by 11 feet deep at its deepest point next to the walkway.

I'm leaning towards incorporating some flowering shrubs like azaleas or Bobo hydrangeas to add color, but I also want to ensure there's room for annuals and smaller flowering plants.

I'm looking for a cohesive look throughout the front yard but I'm open to suggestions beyond azaleas and Bobo hydrangeas as I'd love for these beds to look good year-round, or at least provide significant interest for multiple seasons. We're located in USDA Climate Zone 6a, and these specific garden beds next to the walkway receive morning sun with afternoon partial shade.

Considering the existing Incrediball hydrangeas and Soft Touch holly in the other garden beds, what plant varieties would complement these well in terms of color and bloom time?

Are there any other flowering shrubs or perennials you'd recommend that could thrive in these conditions?

For these garden shapes, how should the plants be arranged?

Thanks in advance for your expertise and suggestions! I'm really looking forward to seeing your ideas.
