1) change the curtain pattern, go for F to C curtains end to end

2) needs to add plush sofas with bright upholstery

3)T.V. unit has to incorporated with the wall treatment, display unit and bigger screen

4) enhanced light arrangement for proper distribution of lights

Based on the function, use of space and manouvering of residents, you will firstly need to plan out the space post which you may evaluate the lighting, furniture etc. Do opt for wall hung TV unit with a sleek backdrop, may be a large ceiling hung light.
