Glazed vitrified tiles

Hi all. We purchased a flat without flooring n fitted glazed vitrified tiles ( branded)and got the interior done from the agency. After shifting ,we noticed scratches all over and holes ( not pinholes) in few areas . What can be the reason as it is quite disheartening to see bit in new place .can we get the expert advice? What can be done about it?

Several designs are available with Glazed Vitrified Tiles (GVT) and they are easy to maintain, but they may be less durable than Double Charge Tiles in high-traffic areas. Due to their improved durability, Double Charge Tiles are often preferred for commercial settings regardless of whether they are suitable for residential settings.

You can use natural stone like marble for floor but do not use granite for floor at all as it is very slippery when wet. As for tiles do not go for glazed vitrified tiles for the floor for the same reason. ( floor becomes slippery once wet and may cause mishap) Go for ceramic anti skid tiles that are specially meant for bathroom floor. For wall tiles you can use whatever you like and then decide over the matching anti skid floor tile/ marble. Double charged vitrified tiles are usually used for flooring in rest of the house.

Double charge and vitifried glazed both are good enough. Vitrified glazed would be costlier and would have more designs. Double charge is cheaper and have lesser design options. Thanks Nitin Cornerstone Designs Bangalore
