Interior ideas for 2.5 bhk

I have a space of 8.4x5.4 sqft for a room and 8.4x10.2 for a dining area. I want to reduce the dining area by 3 ft and add those 3 ft to the room. Thus, room size becomes 8.4x8.4sqft and dining becomes 8.4x7.2 sqft. Suggest some ideas for this new dimension room and adjacent dining. Builder is not providing any partition between the room space and dining space. It is open and the room space does not have a window or balcony too.

hello Shantanu,

there are certain factors you need to look for-

if you can have a window on the exterior wall of the room and the furniture required in that room

dining table seats requirements as 6-seater dining requires at least 6'x9' of space.

Hi Shantanu, I think the current layout is perfect interms of look and space until you need an extra room. Use that as Puja room or storage and keep the dimension as it is.
