You can install log wallpaper on the wall right behind the sofa in the living room. You can hang one floating chair where the love seat is located in the room, and put a love seat or a regular chair facing it. My advice is to have only one chair hanging, and not the whole set as it is shown in the picture you attached. This way, the hanging chair will have more impact. Also, make sure you balance the room on both sides. Meaning, if you hang a floating chair on the left, put something with the same visual volume on the right (floor lamp, plant, sculpture....) Notice in the second picture i attached how the two chairs are balanced with two table lamps of the same visual weight and height.

I think decluttering will help to calm down the room a lot. With books placed horizontally on top of vertical books, and every nook and cranny full of things, there's just too much to look at. What about painting the wardrobe to a lighter colour? It's very dominating in the space. If there was room, I would stash away all the books etc. in a bookcase which would have a door over it, but it looks like that isn't an option here.

well essentially plowing, loosening the mud and treating ur ground with mulch or organic mannure will help. either get samplings from nearby nursery or start with sowing seeds. u must have a Malli or gardener to guide u or pick up couple gardening book to relate n follow. plan ur herbs and flowering plants in a format rest u may let nice grass to grow. avoid weeds at any time. look for couple of perennial plants along with seasonal plants

Kaur, A colonial look will suit this room. There is no limit to the changes that can be done. Ideally, you may need to draw some lines on your budget and requirements.
