What base to prepare if pasting marble on a ply board for a bar unit ?

This is a bar unit and I want to know should we screw an aluminium sheet and then paste marble or apply a flexible bond adhesive and then fix marble on it.

Not required, you can paste it directly with metal paste. First the top , followed by back, sides and base.

You can paste it directly. First Top, then back and sides and base in the last.. Use metal paste.
