Hi, Rajendra, there are three way of doing, firstly what you have chosen is go minimalist with all white, here you will have to add colors by decorating wall or adding a symbolic decor or art mural/painting which will bring you a joy while working. but if you neglect the importance of art work, the kitchen will be boring to use after 6 months of use. as we enjoy spices in our food , so do our eyes enjoy a sense of catchy colors too. second will be adding a contrast in with back splash with a back painted tempered glass or corian, this woks wonders. third, with the color of your choice, which will be permanent in the cabinate, but gives you a fresh sense to the whole kitchen, little color here and there will attract your eye and you'll appreciate your own choice/selection again and again.

Hi...17' by 18' for kitchen is bit more and u hav not said its only kitchen or open kitchen including dining too. Anyway as of now i'll say some vaastu tips and suggestions first. Keep stow at SOUTHEAST (agni)corner. Keep hand wash sink at NORTHEAST corner and also fix water filter in this corner to wall. Keep grinder/mixer at SOUTHWEST corner. Could also place refrigerator at this corner because SOUTHWEST corner is suited for heavy loads/weight. Above stove could fix exhaust fan or smoke chimney to drive smoke out. Make sure all plug points are neatly planned as per equipment requirements. If u hav own borewell make an tap at ur sink in which direct borewell water comes (optional) Make wood cabin in such that it reaches ur hand easily for very much frequent usages. Hey Aleen, It is rather dark but it looks really pretty. Until you redo the kitchen, here are a few suggestions! Paint the lower cabinets white since they are sandwiched between two dark surfaces Paint the upper ones a beautiful pastel sage (I love you colour options BTW, the mushroom and sage sound blissful) and mushroom grey (really really REALLY light) on the walls You can lay down a light coloured and thin outdoor rug on the floor to make the space lighter add plants to liven up the space (could be faux!) Lastly, the little sliver of the wall on the left is a bit of an eyesore. Try painting it over (black or sage green) and if it doesn't look nice (I have my doubts) then hang something there, like a faux plant, or some other kitchen decor item.
